Eduardo is a composer, musician (Lauren Ruth Ward, Oddnesse), and producer who currently resides in Los Angeles. Before moving to California, he was the singer and guitarist of Paperhaus, who have received acclaim from publications such as NPR, Rolling Stone, and Stereogum.
Eduardo received his B.A. from the University of Maryland with a focus in Ethnomusicology. In 2017, he completed a post-graduate certificate for film scoring at UCLA. Following the completion of his film-scoring program, Eduardo scored the critically acclaimed documentary, “Sea Gypsies: The Far Side of the World".
In addition to composing music for feature documentaries, Eduardo is the guitarist of Lauren Ruth Ward, who has been featured in LA Weekly, Consequence of Sound, and Paper Magazine. Lauren and Eduardo released their debut album, “Well, Hell” under Weekday Records in February of 2018. The second studio album, Vol. II, was released March of 2020.
With his diverse musical background and formal training, Eduardo is able to draw from an array of composers before him, while still maintaining an aesthetic distinctly his own.
